Kingfisher Interpretive Center Society.

The Kingfisher Interpretive Centre Society (KICS) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven community salmon hatchery and outdoor education centre located on the banks of the Shuswap River in the North Okanagan. They are guided by a mission to reunite people with the natural world as they welcome thousands of visitors annually to engage in outdoor discovery in their 10-acre “living classroom”.

Recently, KICS created a new campaign called Sponsor a Salmon where people can play a direct role in salmon stewardship, enhancement and conservation. These images were taken for this new project.
