Klondike Gold Mining.

The Klondike Gold Rush kicked off in 1896 where it’s estimated over 100,000 prospectors migrated to the Klondike region of the Yukon to strike it rich in the gold rush! The gold rush brought in people from many corners of the world, who created what Dawson City and the Klondike region is known to be today.
To this day, gold mining is still a huge industry in the Yukon, where pickaxes and shovels have been traded for heavy equipment and sluice boxes. Take a VIP look at the inner-working of one of the biggest gold mines operating in the Klondike Valley today.
